Click Back and Next to move forward or backward in the guided edit's steps.





Click Add media to import the video clip you want to enhance. Ignore if the video clip is already present on the timeline.


Select a template and drag-and-drop it to the timeline. There are several templates available with pre-defined text.

Select from the drop-down list to explore other templates.




To add custom text, select the default text and type in your desired text. Double-click to select the text if the text is not selected.


Double-click the text panel to open it.

You can adjust the font, style, size, and color in the Adjustments panel.

There are various pre-defined styles you can select from. Click the Style tab in the Adjustments bar.





You can animate your text. To add an animation, click the desired animation and select Apply.

Using the Color Properties dialog box, youcan specify the color of each object or group of objects you createin the Monitor panel. The Color Properties dialog box includes controlsfor setting the color and type of an object’s stroke, fill, and shadow.The Gradient menu includes options for how a fill or stroke coloris applied. Depending on the gradient type you select, additionalcolor stops may appear so that you can pick different colors forthe different parts of the gradient.

Youcan save a combination of color properties as a style. Styles appearas thumbnails in the Style tab of the Adjust panel. You can easilyclick them to apply them to objects. Using styles helps you maintainconsistency across multiple titles in a project.

You can use the Color Properties dialog boxto set an object’s fill. An object’s fill propertydefines the area within the contours of the object. The propertydefines the space inside a graphic object or within the outlineof each character of a text object.

Note:

The Fill box in theColor Properties dialog box is enabled only if you‘ve applied apreset style from the Style tab in the Adjust panel to the object.These styles contain fills and strokes, which you can edit.

If necessary, double-click the title in the Expertview timeline to open it in the Monitor panel.

Select an object that contains a fill. (If necessary,click a style in the Style tab of the Adjust panel to apply it tothe object.)

Note:

All preset styles in Title Styles contain a fill exceptthe one in the upper-left corner of the panel.

In the Text tab of the Adjust panel, click the ColorProperties button.

In the Color Properties dialog box, select the Fill box.

From the Gradient menu, select a gradient type for yourfill.

Note:

If you select Linear Gradient, Radial Gradient, or4‑Color Gradient, color stop controls appear. You can click eachstop and select a separate color for each.

• To make the fill transparent, click theNo Color box.

• To set the color to 100% white, click the whitebox.

• To set the color to 100% black, click the blackbox.

• To set the hue, click the color you want in therectangular color spectrum, and then specify the exact color byclicking in the color picker above the spectrum.

• To set the color numerically, set the R, G, andB values by dragging the value or clicking and entering a number.

You use the Color Properties dialog box toset an object’s stroke, or outline if you’ve applied a style containinga stroke.

Note:

The Stroke box in the Color Properties dialogbox is enabled only if you‘ve applied a preset style from the Styletab in the Adjust panel to the object.

Review Adobe Premiere Elements

If necessary, double-click the title in the Expertview timeline to open it in the Monitor panel.

Select an object that contains a stroke. (If necessary,click a style in the Adjust panel.)

Note:

In the Adjust panel, click the Color Properties buttonor right-click/ctrl-click the object and choose Color Properties.

From the Stroke menu, select the stroke you want to use.(Not all strokes have multiple Stroke options.)

For Stroke Weight, specify the stroke’s thickness, inpixels.

From the Gradient menu, select a gradient type for yourfill.

Thebeginning and ending gradient colors are displayed, respectively,in the left and right boxes, or color stops. Selecta color stop prior to choosing its color. Drag the color stops toadjust the transition smoothness between the colors.

The Angleoption (available for Linear Gradient only) specifies the angleof the gradient. The Reverse option reverses the color spots. TheRepeat option (available for Radical Gradient only), specifies thenumber of times to repeat the gradient pattern.

Creates a gradient fill composed of four colors, with a color emanatingfrom each of the object’s corners.
